About Cask #008
For this chapter of the Collective, we head to Brooklyn, New York -home of Kings County Distillery.
Located inside the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard, Kings County represents a different side of American whiskey. Urban, independent, and deeply rooted in old-world craftsmanship, the distillery combines traditional pot distillation with New York character to create bourbon unlike anything coming out of Kentucky.
Handmade in small batches using New York grain and traditional copper pot stills, Kings County Bourbon is known for its bold texture, rich malt character, and uncompromising approach to whiskey-making. No shortcuts. No mass production. Just densely flavored bourbon shaped by patience, grain, oak, and time.

How does the Flaviar Cask Co-Op Collective work?
The recipient becomes a co-owner of a genuine cask of Kings County Bourbon and will receive two bottles of the finished 4-Year-Old Bourbon complete with their name on the label.
Three 1.5 oz. sample vials will be sent at key points during the aging process so they can follow the whiskey’s evolution.
They’ll also receive a personalized ownership certificate and membership card, marking their place in the Collective.
This isn’t just a gift - it’s a shared whiskey journey, from cask to glass.
How does gifting work?
Gifting the Cask Co-Op Collective is simple:
1. Purchase & Send a Gift Card
Personalize a digital gift card with your message and schedule it to be sent .This lets them know something special is on the way.
2.First Shipment & Access to the Experience
Their first shipment arrives by late-May—no gift activation needed. It includes a Personalized Ownership Certificate, a sample vial, and access to the experiential page where they can follow the whiskey's journey.
All you need to do is send the gift card, and we’ll handle the rest!
What’s included in the experience?
- Two bottles of Kings County Bourbon (4 Years Old), complete with their name on the label.
- Three 1.5 oz. sample vials of either new make spirit with a similar mash bill, or samples pulled directly from the aging cask throughout the journey.
- A personalized ownership certificate and membership card, marking their place in the Collective.
When will the recipient get their shipments?
- Month 1 (by late July): Welcome kit + a vial of new-make spirit
- Month 6: 2 vials from the aging cask
- Month 12: Final delivery - 2 full-size bottles of Kings County 4YO Bourbon
Can I include a gift message?
Yes! A digital gift card with your message must be sent to the recipient so they know something special is coming their way. You can personalize it with a message during checkout.
Can I choose the date the gift card is sent?
Yes, you can schedule the date for the digital gift card to be sent.
How many people co-own a cask?
Each cask is shared by a limited group of members. For this eighth release, only 200 spots are available.
Will their bottles be numbered?
Yes. Each of the two Kings County Bourbon bottles will be individually numbered for authenticity and traceability. They’re exclusive to their Collective and their cask.

Can I cancel or get a refund after purchasing the gift?
You can cancel your order and get a full refund within 3 days of purchase—no questions asked.
After that, we’re unable to offer refunds or cancellations due to the limited nature of the product and the personalized elements involved—each spot in the Collective is reserved just for them, and once the journey begins, their cask is already in motion.
What exactly am I purchasing with this gift?
Participation in this cask co-ownership program represents a pre-order of the specified items. By joining, you acknowledge that you are purchasing the right to receive the outlined products, which will be delivered within a 12-month period. This is not a financial investment or security, and does not confer any legal ownership of the cask or its contents beyond the agreed-upon final goods.
Where are your services available?
Currently, our services are available in all US states, except AL, AK, AR, DE, HI, MS, SD, UT, and WV.
Our services are currently unavailable in Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, and overseas US military bases.
Furthermore, our vendors are unable to ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO (AE/AP/AA) addresses, courier depots, and mail forwarding services.
