About Cask #008
For this chapter of the Collective, we head to Brooklyn, New York - home of Kings County Distillery.
Located inside the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard, Kings County represents a different side of American whiskey. Urban, independent, and deeply rooted in old-world craftsmanship, the distillery combines traditional pot distillation with New York character to create bourbon unlike anything coming out of Kentucky.
Handmade in small batches using New York grain and traditional copper pot stills, Kings County Bourbon is known for its bold texture, rich malt character, and uncompromising approach to whiskey-making. No shortcuts. No mass production. Just densely flavored bourbon shaped by patience, grain, oak, and time.

How does the Cask Co-Op Collective work?
You’re joining a one-year whiskey journey. As a member, you co-own a real cask of 4-year-old Kings County Bourbon and receive two bottles of Kings County Bourbon, complete with your name on the label.
Three 1.5 oz. sample vials will be sent at key points during the aging process so you can follow the whiskey’s evolution.
You’ll also receive a personalized ownership certificate and membership card, marking your place in the Collective.
How many people co-own a cask?
Each cask is shared by a limited group of members. For this eighth release, only 200 spots are available.
What’s included in the experience?
- Two bottles of Kings County Bourbon (4 Years Old), complete with your name on the label.
- Three 1.5 oz. sample vials of either new make spirit with a similar mash bill, or samples pulled directly from the aging cask throughout the journey.
- A personalized ownership certificate and membership card, marking your place in the Collective.
When will I get my shipments?
- Month 1 (late July): Welcome kit + a vial of new-make spirit
- Month 6: 2 vials from the aging cask
- Month 12: Final delivery - 2 full-size bottles of Kings County 4YO Bourbon
Will my bottles be numbered?
Yes. Each of your two Kings County Bourbon bottles will be individually numbered for authenticity and traceability. They’re exclusive to your Collective and your cask.

Can I cancel or get a refund after joining the Collective?
You can cancel your order and get a full refund within 3 days of purchase—no questions asked.
After that, we’re unable to offer refunds or cancellations due to the limited nature of the product and the personalized elements involved—each spot in the Collective is reserved just for you, and once the journey begins, your cask is already in motion.
What exactly am I purchasing when I join the Collective?
Participation in this cask co-ownership program represents a pre-order of the specified items. By joining, you acknowledge that you are purchasing the right to receive the outlined products, which will be delivered within a 12-month period. This is not a financial investment or security, and does not confer any legal ownership of the cask or its contents beyond the agreed-upon final goods.
Do you deliver where I live?
Currently, our services are available in all US states, except AL, AK, AR, DE, HI, MS, SD, UT, and WV.
Our services are currently unavailable in Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, and overseas US military bases.
Furthermore, our vendors are unable to ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO (AE/AP/AA) addresses, courier depots, and mail forwarding services.
