Evan Williams Red Label 12 Year Old is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon that’s been pampered for 12 years to achieve a smooth, complex profile. Distilled with a time-honored formula, this 101-proof beauty is a symphony of honeyed almond, mint, and fruitcake on the nose. The palate dances with bold spice, rye, and a whisper of licorice, finishing with brown sugar, smoky oak, and a long, vanilla-like farewell.

Even Williams is a mid-market brand for the main stream Bourbon-drinking market. They actually have four core Bourbons in their line up and then a bunch of other flavored and specialty offerings. The Bourbon core includes their Black Label, white labeled Bottled in Bon, their Evan Williams 1783, and their Single Barrel. The Evan Williams Green and Red Label versions are more scarcely seen.
