What does Teeling taste like?

The Flavour Spiral™ shows the most common flavours that you'll taste in Teeling Irish Whiskey. It's based on all Teeling drinks in our large database and gives you a chance to taste Teeling before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavour Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.

Video from Teeling
Video transcription
Jack Teeling: Growing up around Whiskey and growing up to write the family business, it almost becomes like second nature to you. There's Whiskey in our blood and has been for generations.

Stephen Teeling: The weirdest thing is our father never drank Whiskey.

Jack Teeling: One of my first memories was going up to the distillery when I was very, very young and just the smell of it.

Jack Teeling: Dublin Whiskey was the dominant force in the last golden age of Irish Whiskey back in the 19th century.

Stephen Teeling: There's a reason why those areas of Dublin were suitable for distilleries. Just because they had ample water, it was where the grain, the malted barley, used to come into the city center. That's why...around the Grand Canal Basin, there was so many different things. That's why Guinness is there. You had tanneries, breweries, you had malting houses and you had distilleries.

Jack Teeling: You know for us, to be able to go right back to where we started. Where the origin of Teeling Whiskey came from, which is slack bang in the city center, in the industrial engine of the city. You're not bringing a new industry in, you're just reviving an industry that's been there for generations, for hundreds of years.
