RON BARCELÓ

Distillery
Founded in 1929
In 1929, Julián Barceló emigrated from Spain to Santo Domingo, founding Barceló & Co. in 1950, Barceló Blanco and Dorado gold Rum initiated the launch of the Ron Barceló brand, it was an immediate success.

20 years later, Ron Barceló Añejo was added to the portfolio. 1974 was the year Don Julián Barceló passed over the company to his nephew Miguel Barceló, and 6 years later, in 1980, Ron Barceló Imperial was born.

A premium Rum Ron Barceló's quality lies in several key factors: monitoring sugar cane production, the use of the purest water, aging in new American white oak barrels.

The 4th largest exporter of Rum in the world, Ron Barceló is produced at their facilities in San Pedro de Macorís, in the east of the Dominican Republic.

What does Ron Barceló taste like?

The Flavour Spiral™ shows the most common flavours that you'll taste in Ron Barceló Rum. It's based on all Ron Barceló drinks in our large database and gives you a chance to taste Ron Barceló before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavour Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.
