Born in the heart of Chicago, father-daughter duo
Charlie and Jenny Solberg established Rhine Hall out of their passion for
European-style fruit Eau de Vie.
On November 1, 2013 they opened their distillery doors on Fulton Street
in the heart of Chicago’s industrial neighborhood. Each of the ingredients used to produce their unique Spirits are locally sourced around the Great lakes area.
Rhine Hall strives to stay green with their by-products,
professionally composting pulp and peels. Their core line up has evolved to include nineteen new and aged
Brandies,
Grappas, and Liqueurs, incuding their popular
Rhine Hall Pear Brandy featuring complex
notes of honeysuckle, black pepper, floral and pear.
Their production process begins with
thousands of pounds of fresh fruit which is then chopped, fermented, distilled, and bottled in-house— each bottle contains
approximately 25lbs of fruit.
Their products never contain flavorings, sweeteners, or neutral Spirits. The result is a pure Spirit that is not sweet, but captures
the natural essence of the fruit in both taste and aroma.
