A Bourbon with a Tropical Twist

The World Whiskey Society 10 Year Rum Cask Finished Bourbon is a masterclass in the art of the finish. Crafted from a rare high-wheat mash bill (45% wheat) distilled in Oklahoma, this spirit matured for a decade in new American oak before a secondary rest in Martinique rum casks. The result is a 'unicorn' of a whiskey—velvety and creamier than traditional rye-based bourbons, dancing with notes of molasses, toasted coconut, and sun-ripened tropical fruit. Bottled at barrel proof to preserve its raw complexity, this limited release is a tropical-inflected treasure for the serious collector!

Dark amber

Nose / Aroma / Smell

Opens with a lush bouquet of caramel and molasses, interwoven with tropical fruits, vanilla bean, and a soft backdrop of toasted oak.

Flavor / Taste / Palate

A velvety, 'velveteen' mouthfeel; layers of butterscotch, honey, and dried orchard fruits are complemented by a distinct tropical whisper of coconut and brown sugar from the Martinique rum influence.

Finish
