A Sherry Symphony

The Glendronach 30 Year Old 2025 Release is a Highland masterpiece, matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso Sherry casks. This single malt boasts a deep mahogany hue and a robust 46.8% ABV. Expect a symphony of flavors: dark chocolate, figs, and treacle from PX casks, with dry spice and nutty notes from Oloroso. It's a collector's dream and a palate's delight, offering a rich tapestry of raisins, Seville orange, and a long, sherry-sweet finish.

Glendronach Distillery was founded in 1826 by James Allardice whose name is still proudly displayed on the bottle. They are smack dab in the middle of the Highland action.

Over the nearly 200 years of their history, this traditional distillery has been bought, sold, and traded more times than a Chicago politician. But in 2008 they were finally rescued by the BenRiach Distillery Company—God bless ‘em.

Appearance / Color

Deep burnished copper, mahogany core.

Nose / Aroma / Smell

A rich tapestry of raisins and sultanas, layered with dark Seville orange marmalade, antique leather, and finely ground nutmeg.

Flavor / Taste / Palate

Immediate notes of black forest gateau and chocolate fondant yield to layers of dried figs, sticky dates, and ripe red plums.

Finish

Exceptionally long, dry, and memorable, fading slowly with notes of tobacco leaf, dark cocoa, and the persistent, sweet essence of sherry wine.
