The Port Ellen 21 Year Old 1980 Silver Seal is a rare gem from the pre-closure era, distilled in 1980 and bottled by the independent Silver Seal company. This Scotch whisky is a complex dance of minerality and roundness, with notes of seashells, putty, and raw almonds, sweetened by tangerine and vanilla. At 21 years old, delivering a powerful punch of traditional peat smoke, kippers, and tobacco leaves. Its medium-length finish is a savory blend of herbal smoke and dried grasses.

A fine, smoky maritime malt, Port Ellen will one day pass from the world completely, and with it one of its greatest peated Whisky.
