Nikka Gold & Gold Black Label Shirobin 1989 is a vintage Japanese whisky that captures the essence of the Yoichi Distillery's craftsmanship. Crafted from pot and coffee stills, this blend is a harmonious dance of dry malt, toffee, and vanilla, with a festive sprinkle of ginger and brandied fruit. It delivers a smooth, warming palate with cinnamon, ginger, and a whisper of peat, culminating in a medium to long finish that's both peppery and sweet.

Nikka Whiskies are made by using Yoichi and Miyagikyo's single malts and grain Whiskies, produced at the Miyagikyo Distillery and Tochigi Plant.

The taste can vary a lot among the Whiskies, due to the various expressions offered, including Nikka From The Barrel, Taketsuru, Pure Malt Series, Coffey Malt, Coffey Grain, Super Nikka, etc.
