Nikka G&G White Label: A 90s Gem

The Nikka G&G White Label 1990s Release is a rare, high-character gem from the iconic 'Gold & Gold' series. Standing apart from standard editions with a robust 46% ABV, this vintage blend offers a concentrated look at Nikka’s golden-era craftsmanship. It masterfully marries Yoichi’s coal-fired, smoky malts with the silky grain spirits of Miyagikyo, produced in Nikka's historic Coffey stills. Composed of well-matured stocks from the late '80s and early '90s, the experience opens with a nose of honeyed malt and crisp apple, leading to a buttery palate of toasted cinnamon and vanilla. It concludes with a signature finish of lingering smoke and dry, autumnal grass—a quintessential piece of Japanese whisky history.

Nikka Whiskies are made by using Yoichi and Miyagikyo's single malts and grain Whiskies, produced at the Miyagikyo Distillery and Tochigi Plant.

The taste can vary a lot among the Whiskies, due to the various expressions offered, including Nikka From The Barrel, Taketsuru, Pure Malt Series, Coffey Malt, Coffey Grain, Super Nikka, etc.
