Nikka G&G: A Samurai's Sip from the 80s

The Nikka G&G Black Label from the 1980s is a vintage Japanese whisky that’s as iconic as its Samurai helmet bottle cap. Crafted from a blend of malts from Yoichi and Miyagikyo, this whisky is a rich, caramel-colored delight. Aged to perfection, it boasts sweet notes of caramel and woody undertones from cask aging. With an ABV that whispers rather than shouts, it offers a balanced, smooth finish that’s quintessentially Nikka. A true relic of the 1980s Japanese whisky scene.

Nikka Whiskies are made by using Yoichi and Miyagikyo's single malts and grain Whiskies, produced at the Miyagikyo Distillery and Tochigi Plant.

The taste can vary a lot among the Whiskies, due to the various expressions offered, including Nikka From The Barrel, Taketsuru, Pure Malt Series, Coffey Malt, Coffey Grain, Super Nikka, etc.
