Distilled in 1980 and bottled in 1999, this rare gem underwent double maturation, finishing in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. At 43% ABV, it boasts a deep mahogany color and a 'thick and chewy' texture. Expect a nose of raisiny sweetness, dark chocolate, and maritime salt, leading to a palate of espresso, roasted malt, and smoldering peat. Its long, drying finish with peat ash and sweet oak is a collector's dream.
