John E. Fitzgerald 20 Year Old Very Special Reserve

On the scale of Bourbon treasures, this one ranges somewhere between The Ark of the Covenant and The Holy Grail. But unlike the latter two, this one is very real, very tangible, and it doesn't belong in a museum, but your selective home bar.

This collector's bottling features a blend of twelve barrels of Wheated Whiskey from the mythical Stitzel-Weller distillery. That's from the same wheated mashbill that Pappy Van Winkle developed for Old Fitz at Stitzel-Weller.

Aged for 20 years - a remarkable degree of maturity for any American Whiskey - it comes in a cube-shaped decanter, decorated with a gold and platinum key, which commemorates Fitzgerald’s role as the treasury agent who held the keys to the warehouse. Each bottle comes packed inside a handmade wooden box with die-cut keyholes and hinged doors that close with magnets.
