46 Years of Rare Elegance—Glenglassaugh’s Coastal Treasure

Step into history with Glenglassaugh 46 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, a rare Highland masterpiece. Distilled in 1975 and aged in a single ex-bourbon cask, its 41.7% ABV unravels a symphony of tropical fruits, velvety vanilla, toffee, and refined aged oak. Crafted by the sea, it captures the essence of time, tradition, and extraordinary taste for the discerning collector.

The Glenglassaugh distillery was founded by Col. James Moir in 1875, at the east end of the beautiful Sandend Bay, in the Speyside region of Scotland.

In 1892 Glenglassaugh was purchased by Highland Distillers and continued production until 1986, when it was mothballed.

In 2008 it was bought by the BenRiach distillery with the intention of bringing this brand back to life, and rightfully so.

Appearance / Color

Deep gold.

Nose / Aroma / Smell

Rich and complex, with elegant notes of tropical fruits, ripe banana, and candied orange peel.
