Buffalo Trace Single Oak Project Barrel #40 is a bourbon lover's dream, part of an award-winning series that explores the alchemy of whiskey-making. This rye-recipe bourbon boasts a 12-month stave seasoning and a robust 125 entry proof. Expect a nutty aroma with roasted almonds, coconut, and sweet vanilla. The palate is a creamy delight, with brown sugar, molasses, and a hint of allspice, making it a standout in the bourbon universe.

Buffalo Trace is a highly respected brand from the famous distillery of the same name. The Buffalo Trace Distillery claims to be “the most awarded distillery” in America. 

It has become the flagship of the Sazerac Bourbon line-up. They keep the mash bill tight — corn, rye, and malted barley with no wheat filler. It is also aged 7 years and served up at 45% ABV. All that means good Bourbon flavor in every sip.

We taste buttery caramel, toffee, dried pineapple, and cinnamon toast. The finish is decent in length with lingering spice and sweet.
