The Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, boasts a legacy stretching over two centuries. Established in 1812 by Harrison Blanton, it evolved through history to become one of the most celebrated whiskey producers. Now owned by Sazerac, Buffalo Trace pairs tradition with innovation, crafting world-class spirits and conducting groundbreaking experiments in whiskey aging.
Crafted in 2005 and aged for 10 years, this bourbon is a bold expression of Buffalo Trace’s experimental artistry. Using a low-rye mash bill, it matures in a barrel with toasted French oak heads, delivering layers of vanilla, toasted caramel, and subtle spice. Bottled at a robust 100 proof in 2015, each sip offers a velvety mouthfeel, notes of dried fruit, and exceptional complexity.
