He went on to get a Master in Philosophy from Cambridge and an MBA from some school called Harvard. At the age of thirty-three he became the youngest VP in Starbucks history. Last year he stepped out on his own to launch a new Caribbean Rum brand "Ten to One," to develop a contemporary, elevated Rum experience. See what we mean? Impressive, right?

Ten To One Caribbean White Rum did not arrive as an accident. It’s NOT just an un-aged distillate like so many other clear Spirits. Ten To One Caribbean White Rum was designed for cocktails from the get-go. It is a blend of premium column still Rum from the Dominican Republic and pot still Rum from Jamaica. The blend has been married and bottled at 45% ABV, with ZERO added sugars, colorings, or flavorings — as it should be.

While I enjoy some of the floral notes in the aroma and fruitiness in the taste it is like the rum equivalent of baijiu. There's a copper/pot-like aftertaste that lingers long after you drink it. Even when used in cocktails it makes the drink sweeter and floral tasting but the aftertaste is ever present and brings down the whole mix
