Stork Club is Germany's pioneer rye Whiskey, forged by the brilliant minds at SpreeWood Distillers just a hop, skip, and jump from the bustling metropolis of Berlin. The trio behind the magic, Steffen Lohr, Bastian Heuser, and Sebastian Brack, have undoubtedly earned their booze-soaked stripes in the Spirits industry. The Whiskey's origins lie in the breathtaking Spreewald Biosphere Reserve, a utopia of meandering rye fields, waterways, and floodplains that locals use for fishing and transportation. Even visitors can paddle along in traditional punts or canoes. This biodiverse paradise boasts over 6,000 species of plants and animals, including storks who flock to the area for breeding each spring.
In this enchanted corner of the world, the microclimate plays matchmaker, coaxing forth the wondrous Stork Club Straight Rye Whiskey. Forged from 100% German rye, this liquid gold slumbers in a harmonious embrace of individually toasted American and German Napoleon oak barrels. It matures for three years until the blend reaches that rich and flavorful essence that defines the signature Stork Club taste. The palate yields caramel and spices, the velvety decadence of dark chocolate and espresso, and the unmistakable kick of rye's signature pepperiness. All you have to do is simply summon a highball glass filled with ice, pour in this nectar, and crown it with the zing of ginger ale. Adorn it with a flourish of orange zest, and voila — the Stork Club Highball.
