Taste smooth, Good flavor, Taste alot of oak. Did not get any of the raspberry that was mentioned did get some vanilla.

Pretty good!!!

Tried it neat, then added a bit of water to open it up, which definitely added more aroma and flavors, then with a bit of premium soda for a mini highball. All great! Never would have tried this before without the Advent calendar.

Never had Chinese Whiskey!

Didnt like the other japanese whiskeys at all or the different cask finishes, this chinese one was more like a bourbon than others, which matches my style perfectly

5 stars from an Adventurous Spirits Enthusiast

I enjoy world whiskeys because they offer a taste totally different from the usual single malt scotches and American bourbons.

This unique Shanghai whiskey fits right in with those innovative, special spirits and I thought it was a pleasant and welcome tasting, with just enough caramel and vanilla on the top (not too sweet) and a distinctive spice on the end. This would probably be a 4-star but I give them a 5 for being the first from the country that I've heard of.

I've also been a big fan of Japanese and Taiwanese whiskeys over the past 10 years and have proudly brought new bottles of Indian whiskey and Australian whiskey to my friends' houses for poker nights and watching Sunday football together.
This bottle will be next in my lineup for bringing over to share with friends and family.
