A wonderfully rich Extra Añejo Tequila that screams quality.

Tequila used to be produced on estates all around central Mexico. Like a lot of traditional spirits world-wide, nearly all liquor production is made more economically efficient by distributing tasks. But Tequila Herradura was founded in 1870 and proudly claims to be the last true Tequila producing hacienda on the planet.” It is a true estate product — meaning even their special Blue Weber Agave plants are grown on site. They produce five premium Tequilas, including Silver, Resposado, Añejo, the always changing Collección de la Casa, and their Suprema Extra Añejo.

Herradura Seleccion Suprema Extra Añejo is a multi-award-winning super-premium Spirit. In a nutshell, this means that it is the best Tequila they produce. 100% Blue Weber Agave is slow-roasted for 26 hours in brick ovens, then mashed and fermented for seven days with naturally occurring, local yeasts. The spirit is then aged 49 months in ex-Bourbon casks and bottled at 40% ABV. We think it should only be sipped neat, and it pairs exceptionally well with dark chocolate… really… we know... because we tried it.... ourselves...
