El Mayor is a full line of traditional Tequilas — each a super example of Tequila-making. El Mayor Extra Añejo Rum Cask Finish is a limited edition Extra Añejo, perfectly crafted by artisans. But what sets this edition apart is that it has been aged for three years in ex-Bourbon barrels and finished in Agricole Rum casks for an additional six months.

Nose / Aroma / Smell
The Bourbon casks influence the nose with English toffee and vanilla notes complimenting the earthy and herbal notes in the Spirit.

Flavor / Taste / Palate
The mouth-feel is rich and slick with caramel notes and dark chocolate over a mineral flavor with cilantro, plantain, and yucca.

Finish
The finish is medium length, smooth, and warm.
