Ride this tasty Rye realness.

You know how plants are supposed to flourish more if you play them Mozart? Now imagine aging your Whiskey with music. What would you play? Metallica, of course. And that is what's really happening now: the original gangsters of metal just gave us their brand-new Whiskey called Blackened American Whiskey. So metal, right? Founded with the late Master Distiller Dave Pickerell, the Whiskey is tucked away next to subwoofers that blast low-frequency sound waves to enhance the molecules. It might sound like just another celebrity gimmick, but the studies and critics are both saying there is something to this music treatment. We’re no scientists, but we can confirm the Whiskey is delicious AF.

BLACKENED Kentucky Straight Rye Double Cask Finished Whiskey was aptly dubbed Rye The Lighting. Why? True fans can take a guess: it was inspired by Metallica’s 6-times platinum sophomore album, Ride the Lightning. The hand-picked 5-8YO Kentucky Ryes were double cask finished in Madeira and Rum casks while a unique playlist was blasted to the barrels with BLACKENED’s proprietary BLACK NOISE™ sonic enhancement process. The setlist was from Orion Music + More festival, which was the only time the band has ever played the entire album live, albeit in reverse track order. The music gave birth to tasty flavors of clover honey, mint, corn husk, walnut, cinnamon, and sugarcane that you can savor neat, on the rocks, or by mixing it up.
