Heaven Hill’s gift to Kentucky is reborn nationwide.

Heaven Hill Distillers is unique. They are one of the oldest and largest Bourbon distillers in the world, they have the second largest standing inventory of aging Bourbon, and they have grown to become the seventh largest supplier of Spirits in the US. BUT… they are still family-owned. In fact, they are the only family-owned production house left in Kentucky. God bless the Shapira family! The Spirit brands owned and controlled by Heaven Hill includes Evan Williams, Elijah Craig, their namesake Heaven Hill, and many dozens more.

Up until 2019, the most popular Bourbon in Kentucky was only available in Kentucky — it was Heaven Hill’s six year-old Bottled in Bond. Some people have called it Heaven Hill’s gift to Kentucky. The previous year they announced that this fan-favorite was going to be discontinued. It is no coincidence that they just announced a new, replacement flagship Heaven Hill Spirit. Heaven Hill 7 year old Bottled in Bond has the same high-corn mash bill — 78% corn, 12% malted barley, 10% rye — and same Bottled in Bond designation at 50% ABV and federally secured authenticity. The difference is an extra year in the barrel and updated packaging. Now available for nationwide release, no doubt this will become a staple of back-bar inventories all over the country.

Ratings & Reviews
Ron
Ron,
Solid bourbon@$42 which is what I paid, would never pay what flavier is asking, little spicier then I like but finish is sweet so it balances it out.

Nathan
Nathan,
Light vanilla, peanut & oak on the nose. The palate is moderately thick and round with lots of caramel & vanilla. The finish is moderate to long with cinnamon and vanilla.

Carl
Carl,
Fantastic bourbon all around. Perhaps there are just as good of bourbons for a similar or lesser cost, but definitely not underwhelmed after all the build up and lore. Paid $40 for it in Florida. That’s a reasonable cost for it.

Tyler
Tyler,
Great pour. Nutty finish, very smooth.

Richard
Richard,
This is some delicious juice. The most pleasant surprise I’ve had in a while.

Nick
Nick,
This is a decent bottle of bourbon. It's not very complex, though. I got it for 40 bucks and felt like I over paid for it. $115 for this is absurd!

phillip
phillip,
Very nice sweet smooth slight nutty finish looking forward to trying the green lable

luke
luke,
Its fine. It is the new version of a 20 dollar whiskey with an extra year. Flaviar trying to sell it for over a 100. Lol 😆 I'm getting pretty sick of flaviar. Anyone else? Its more insulting to try to gouge ur members than just not offer them anything.
Ron
Ron,
Agreed, that's the whole reason to pay for a subscription, to get good prices on bottles, I can get price gouged at my local store
Joshua
Joshua,
This only costs $42 where i live. about $40 is the right price for this. It is good but it didn't really blow me away.

Robert
Robert,
Pretty f’n good. Definitely in my top tier. Which means top 3.

Earl
Earl,
Great taste, great buy and good price at $30-$40. I hope it can remain at this price.

Michael
Michael,
Way too pepper-forward. Maybe a bit more enjoyable if the price point was $35-40

Mark
Mark,
Very nice!

Kevin
Kevin,
Great flavor and very easy to drink, especially for 100 proof

Erik
Erik,
The old Heaven Hill BiB was a fantastic buy, then they changed the label and made it 7yr instead of 6yr while jacking the price up from $15 to $45. Unfortunately the fancy new label and extreme price hike did not coincide with an increase in quality of the actual whiskey in the bottle.

Doug
Doug,
Excellent sipping bourbon!

John
John,
Spicy. Rye comes out more than I expected given its mash bill stating 10% rye. Cinnamon. Nutmeg. Dark berries. Slight sweetness that's more appreciated with a bit of water. There's some heat when taken neat, which isn't bad at all. But adding water balances the flavors and heat a bit better. The finish is nice with the spice lingering on the palate. Nice sipping bourbon.

Rita
Rita,
Nice offering form HH..it has lots of cinnamon but. Not too much.

Daniel
Daniel,
Value issue - White Label BIB 6 yr - 15.99; New Label 7yr - 49.99 (or $70+ on Flaviar, lol). This is a solid offering by HH, but its going to take a while for this pricepoint to feel good after enjoying the 6yr product for so long.
