Sweet and fruity. Tropical
Thought it was a bit one dimensional. Good smoky and spicy flavor but not for me.
Fruity (pear) sweet, sweet nose but a spicy taste, smooth, with long creamy finish. I would give it an 8 if it where not for the price
Fruity, sweet nose but surprisingly spicy taste, smooth and creamy but rather one-dimensional, not bad but I've had better at this price point.
A little too spicy for my tastes. Overwhelmed the other flavors in the tasting spiral to me.
Super spicy but fades fast into a smooth finish
Very interestingly spicy, you can fell the spiciness even before you swallov the liquid.recommend it for those who like spicy
The smoothest whisky I’ve ever had
I love how the spice and creaminess come together
A little spicy at the start, but really comes into a nice taste and the finish is great! If you can overcome some harshness at the top, this is a really good whiskey.
Very sweet, smooth finish
Good. Nothing to write home about but an easy middle of the road drink. Not real spicy but a hint of spice. Interesting nose. Almost smells a bit like cigar
If you like spicy than you’ll love this!!!
A little rough at the edges, but nice flavor.
Wonderful flavors with no harshness. Almost creamy
I can taste the pear and I think it’s delicious!
This was a pleasant surprise
This is a fantastic scotch. Who would have thought, Indian single malt scotch, right? I got it with my buddy from India and we were both pleasantly surprised at the wonderful taste. It is definitely worth a try.
Smooth. Definite bit of spicy. Pretty good
Sweet and balanced. Lighter in flavor than the nose would suggest. Very smooth.
Lots of spice but almost too much. The spice almost completely covers the floral flavors.
It is a very good, intense, Indian Single Malt Whisky with an intense birth; while a creamy life; leads to a delicate & rich death of medium length with floral notes.
This one grew on me. At first I found the nose a bit off putting but like a strange, extremely floral perfume I slowly found myself enjoying it and wanting more. Very fruity and floral with a strong spicy finish. Started out neat but finished the last of the dram with a drop of spring water which really opened it up. This one will be going in my bar as soon as I find it. Very enjoyable. I got this is in Asia & Oceania Vol 2 tasting box and must admit this box was my first whisky adventure outside of North American, Scotland and Ireland and so far the box is 2 for 2. I'm glad Flaviar is opening up my mind!
I did not like this all that much. Overall, feels like it was bottled too soon. Strong rubbing alcohol type flavor overwhelms everything else.
Strong aromatics of apple, caramel, and melon. Very spicy with a slight smokiness. The melon and chocolate flavors come through if you hold the drink in your mouth a bit. A unique whisky.
Surprisingly good. First few tastes I was unsure, but as I finished the glass I became a fan. First impression is LOTS of apple and pear, and very aromatic — almost too floral. As my palette adjusted to the drink, the apple and citrus finish were great, lingering like a fresh apple juice in the mouth. Might grab a bottle sometime, great sipper.
I don't know what I was expecting, but an immediate spice with a lingering flavor of melon on a floral background is interesting. I can't distinguish the apple from the pear, but if you like your whisky on the sweet and floral side, with a bit of a kick up front, this one is for you.
This is different. An immediate spicy taste, a little taste of pear, and then a very, sweet finish but still quite nice and that too from someone who doesn’t like sweet.
A lot on the nose - floral/hoppy like a beer, citrus, vanilla. The palate left quite a bit to be desired, but a lot of pear/apple with some wood/oak and sugar. The finish was very thin and water, but sweet and smooth.
It's pretty good. Complicated.
Good, not great. Overly sweet for my taste. Fruits come through well, but not enough to balance the caramel.
The Apple and Pear combine to something like black licorice. Not my favorite
