Meet the top 5% of the Sake world.

Coming from the birthplace of Sake, TYKU is a luxury Sake brand that’s entirely hand-made with traditional methods at the award-winning Umenoyado Brewery in Nara, Japan. Ever heard of the prestigious Japanese sake competition Zenkoku Shinshi Kanpyo Kai? Well, they won 10 times. It’s the Yoshida Family that’s been making Sake there with traditional methods for 5 generations. Today, it’s headed by Kayo Yoshida who is the first female brewery owner in Nara. TYKU Sake needs only 4 simple ingredients: non-GMO rice, water from underground springs, yeast, and koji.

The Sakes that fall into the Junmai Ginjo category represent around the top 5% of all Sake. Right there in the top 5%, TYKU Junmai Ginjo Sake has a rich and silky texture that was awarded Gold both at San Francisco International Wine Competition and at New York World Wine & Spirits Competition. It’s made from a special blend of Yamada Nishiki and Akebono sake rice that’s polished to remove any impurities.
