Parker's Heritage releases are a completely different story from year to year. This is a tribute to sixth generation Master Distiller Emeritus Parker Beam, for his exceptional work that lasted for five decades.
This 9th edition is called Kentucky Straight Malt Whiskey, because it is made of 65% malted barley and 35% corn. Quite unussual for a Kentucky born and bred golden drop, we must say. Aged in brand new oak barrels that have a special place in their Richouses where the temperature is optimal for ageing. Truly an experiment done excellent.
