Knob Creek’s award-winning Rye Whiskey aged twice for more oak-forward flavor.
Knob Creek is one of the special “small batch” brands of Beam-Suntory. Along with its sister labels — Booker’s, Baker’s, and Basil Hayden’s — it’s tailored to the more discriminating Bourbon-lover (and that means YOU). The Knob Creek brand was first launched in 1992, and since then they have changed very little — remaining dedicated to reproducing a pre-Prohibition Bourbon style experience. They keep their line-up limited to a handful of core products and special releases and they do all of them right, winning awards and turning heads.
You’ve heard us say it time and time again… we love Knob Creek. Everything they produce is high quality and bottled strong, with an ABV powerful enough to teach a cocktail who’s boss. Well, Knob Creek launched their first Rye in 2012 and it’s been a HUGE success. So they’ve decided to build on that success in a very unique way. 2018 Knob Creek Twice Barreled Rye is not just “finished” in a seasoned barrel — it’s aged twice in a second, brand new, darkly-charred #4 oak cask. How many times have you seen that? And the result is a deeply colored, 100 proof Rye Whiskey with huge notes of oak, vanilla, and spice.
