Not far away from Louisville, KY, there’s a small town that’s known as the capital of Bourbon: Bardstown. Right after the unholy period of Prohibition, two brothers decided it was the perfect time to make Whiskey. In just a few decades, they made the American dream come true and turned their business into the largest family-owned distillery. Heaven Hill Distillery is still owned by the Shapira family, and in 1986, they came up with a super-premium brand of Bourbon and named it after Reverend Elijah Craig, who allegedly invented “true Kentucky Bourbon”.
Elijah Craig Single Barrel 18YO received three double gold medals, two gold medals, and the title of the best small batch Bourbon of 2017. Master Distiller Parker Beam made sure this opulent Bourb’ starts with an aromatic bang that builds up to a fantastic palate and a memorable finish.
