Learn more >A briny Gin born from the ocean.
Inspired by nature, botanicals and all things green, Danielle Leavell, the founder of Astraea, is an aspiring individual who studied at the prestigious University of Heriot-Watt University in Scotland. She only went and got a Master’s in Brewing and Distilling, a profession so unique and individual that it fits Danielle’s character perfectly—and a pretty ballsy move for an American!
Putting her knowledge of distilling to good use and being fascinated by botanicals, Danielle founded her company to give birth to a mythical variety of London Dry Gins. Her range includes an impressive selection of nature-inspired Gins, all dutifully named according to their prevailing natural element.
Oceans have always been connected with goddesses, and Astraea is no different. With its Ocean London Dry Gin, it titillates with salty and sublime notions of the Pacific Ocean. It’s briny on the nose, oozes coastal vegetation and shows off juniper-forward notes, all bottled up at 40% ABV. Featuring a beautiful bottle design with floaty kelp dominating the deep blue sea, it’s no wonder this wavy expression elegantly rides over the waves of competition.
*Astraea has recently changed their labels, and as the original labels are being phased out, there is still a chance that you might receive a bottle different than what is pictured. But rest assured, the liquid remains the same, regardless of the label.
