Sophisticated, smooth and stylish Spirit from Jalisco.

There are Tequilas that take you on a wild journey of gaga escapades and memory loss. And there are Tequilas that you're supposed to sip and converse about Art Deco and German philosophy. Perfectomundo Añejo is the latter kind and even though it's mature and sophisticated, it still knows how to throw a party. But, you know... an exquisite and fancy one.

The first owners of the distillery, the Gonzales family, had produced handcrafted Spirits since 1904, but in 1985, the Cabo family took over and expanded the production of smooth 100% Blue Agave Tequilas. Añejo Tequila that comes in a grand perfume-like bottle is made of hand-picked Agave and pure water from the hills of Jalisco.

This dainty Tequila has aged three years in French or American oak barrels that used to give shelter to Bourbon. Master Cognac and Whisky blenders from France and Scotland stop and curse daily, so immense is their jealousy. Triple distillation takes care of smoothness while oak barrels give a hint of vanilla and Agave caress of fruitiness.

What does Perfectomundo Tequila Añejo taste like?

The Flavour Spiral™ shows the most common flavours that you'll taste in Perfectomundo Tequila Añejo and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavour Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.

Tequila goes bad with time. Once you open a bottle of Tequila, you better be in the mood to drink it. Generally, you have one to two months before oxidization and evaporation diminish the quality of the Tequila and destroys the Agave flavour profile.

Michael
Michael,
Aromas of cocoa and tobacco, with agave and vanilla. Lightly vanilla-sweet up front on tasting, dried fruits and dark chocolate coming in later. Agave comes in just before the finish along with pepper and a touch of wood smoke that lingers long. I would've liked perhaps just a touch more agave presence, but even with that small quibble this is an excellent sipping tequila... those reviewers on here who've termed this one 'a tequila for whiskey drinkers' are absolutely correct- this would be an excellent place for a drinker new to the spirit to start.

Probably a great tequila for the whiskey aficionado looking to cross in to the tequila world.

Antti
Antti,
It is a classic, balanced, agave liqueur with a delicate birth, while a rich life leads to a long & smooth death.

Katherine
Katherine,
Almost like a cherry vanilla Coke. Very smooth and sweet, but interesting and complex. Very good tequila.
