A full-flavored and bold Irish Single Malt.

Glendalough was founded by “five friends from Wicklow and Dubli.” They began their journey creating Poitín — a traditional Irish distillate made in very small pot stills (sort of like small batch Irish Moonshine). From there it was a short and easy step into a variety of Irish Whiskies and Herbal-infused Gins as well. Everything is made by hand with a good measure of love.

Most Single Malts are aged either twelve or fourteen years unless their an independent bottler, so thirteen stands out. The “official” story is that “13 is Irelands luckies number.” But rugby great Brian O’Driscoll wore the number 13 when he played for the Ireland team, and he’s a shareholder in the company, so… you decide. Glendalough 13 is a classic Irish Single Malt, crafted is small-batch Holstein stills and aged a full thirteen years in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks. And at a perfect 46% ABV, the honey and vanilla flavors veritably jump out of the bottle. Make no mistake, this stuff is delicious. All we’re saying is that — like the rugby player it’s modeled after — it’s not bashful on the flavor side.

Smartass corner:
Glendalough is Gaelic for “valley of two lakes.” And if you ever get to visit the small town of Glendalough, you will find just that — a beautiful east-Ireland hamlet with a small craft distillery and two lovely lakes nearby.

Ratings & Reviews
One of the absolutely best Irish Whiskies I've ever had! Smooth with a slightly sweet finish. Unfortunately it fell to the Corona Virus stay ay home orders ;-). Definitely on my buy again list.
West meets east. A perfect combination of Irish whiskey with Japanese barrels. Highly recommend trying this beautiful whiskey.
Loved it. Excellent whiskey and extremely smooth. Very subtle flavors and wonderful smell.
My go to Irish Whiskey to get other people to fall in love with Irish whiskey!
The store manager recommended this bottle to me after I told him I had tried Yellow Spot, and found a liking to Irish Whiskey. I had given the Yellow Spot a 7/10, and I have to say, this gem is slightly better. It is an 8 for me. Why? Because I'm a bit partial to Mizunara Cask, and I believe that anyone outside of Japan daring to experiment with Mizunara deserves my heartfelt ovation. I am taken away by the aroma, and the flavor is fruity with tastes of cocoa and the finish is sumptuous and long. This bottle is also rated top 20 whiskeys of 2018 by Whisky Advocate, so there you go! I like it!
Is a finest of taste and love it.
If you enjoy Irish whiskey this should be a staple in your bar.
Definitely on the spicy side. I don’t get much vanilla, but I taste the honey and some coffee after taste. A slightly above average whiskey, but not really worth the price.
Amazing taste with and ending of vanilla!
