The most orangey distilled non-alcoholic badassery ever.
Hold on, don’t go anywhere. We know saying “non-alcoholic” here is like mentioning Justin Bieber at a death metal festival but bear with us. If you’re a responsible grown ass person (and not, say, Mrs. Lohan or Mr. Gibson), you know there are times you should not drink booze. Maybe you’re expecting or maybe you’re the designated driver. But! That does not mean you have to drink boring fizzy drinks for kids or, god forbid, water. There’s a badass distilled beverage that won’t impair your ability to operate machinery. Glad you stuck around, are you?
Meet Seedlip, a lovely concoction our grandfathers drank (if said grandfathers were still around in 2015) when they decided to look cool while staying sober. It takes half a dozen of weeks to create this curious drink and it involves maceration, distillation and filtration for every botanical. No calories, no sugar, no sweeteners, no artificial bull poop, and no DUI. Seedlip is so ritzy it’s being used by the world’s favorite cocktail bars and Michelin-starred establishments.
Now, this very expression, called Grove 42, is all about oranges and citruses (citri?). It's made from bitter orange, blood orange, mandarin, lemongrass and lemon. It's a zesty evening companion with a complex citrusy flavor and uplifting spices. Why the name? It was reportedly the year 1542 when the word ""orange"" was first used to describe both the color and the fruit. There's nother piece of trivia to tell your plastered friends as you proudly deliver them home in one piece. "
