Seedlip is the flag bearer and a pioneer in the world of non-alcoholic Spirits. The company was founded by visionary Ben Branson, who, after a particularly sickly pink mocktail, combined his family’s 300-year farming heritage with learnings from the book “The Art of Distillation” written in 1651, which documented apothecaries’ distilled non-alcoholic herbal remedies. Using his personal kitchen in the woods equipped with a small copper still, Branson pushed the boundaries of distillation, solving the dilemma of ‘What to drink when you’re not drinking’ (the company’s trademark). Seedlip currently has two expressions in their lineup.
Seedlip Garden 108 is a floral blend of hand-picked peas & homegrown hay from Branson’s Farm. Garden 108 beautifully light and airy expression captures the essence of the English countryside with sophisticated top notes with a complex herbal base character of spearmint, rosemary & thyme.
Seedlip Spice 94 is their strongly aromatic, spicy release. A complex blend of aromatic, Jamaican allspice berry & cardamom distillates with two barks & a bright citrus peel finish. Spice 94 gets its name from the date Christopher Columbus discovering allspice in Jamaica in 1494. Both Spirits are best enjoyed with tonic or as the base for martini or sour style non-alcoholic cocktails.
