A Rum with a High Force.
Countless budding Rum aficionados had their first run-in with quality sipping Rum with Zaya. The Guatemalan Rum that was initially distilled by Industrias Licoreras de Guatemala that served as a bridge to a world of delicious Spirit for many is now in its second incarnation. You see, after being acquired by Diageo in 2008, its production was moved to Trinidad and Tobago, opening a new chapter for the Spirit.
An overproof blend of premium aged Rums, Zaya Alta Fuerza Rum is named “High Force”. Apparently, it’s supposed to “ignite your sense” and ignite your sense it does. With a river of black pepper, spice, maple, and brown sugar, this tropical beauty clocks in at 57.5% ABV and it can hold its ground in any craft Rum cocktail on top of being a primo neat sipper.
