A Smooth Single Malt that will soothe your senses.

In a land of sun-kissed beaches, Golden Gate Bridge and Coachella, back in 1982, a man named Jörg Rupf had a dream. He wanted to create artisanal Spirits that everyone would enjoy, especially himself. And so he founded St. George Spirits, a craft distillery in the heart of California. Their Spirits were so good that they became pioneers of the American craft distilling movement. A common thread that joins founder Jörg Rupf, Master Distiller Lance Winters and Head Distiller Dave Smith is the ‘Eau de Vie,’ or water of life. This magic liquid captures the flavor and aroma of fruit harvested at its best and then intensifies the fruit flavor through a meticulous distilling process. St. George’s distillery perfected this process to a tee, so much that they beat Europe’s top producers in the privileged Destillata blind tasting. Nowadays, you can find their distillery in a massive airplane hangar at the Alameda Naval Air Station, producing Whiskey, Gin, Vodka, and even Absinthe. So there’s something to be found for everybody!

Smooth operator? No, it’s just George—St. George Single Malt Whiskey, Lot 21, to be exact. And there’s nothing modest about it. With its pure mash bill of 100% malted barley, and 86 proof, it is a rare beauty that people usually open for grand holidays such as Christmas and weddings. Since joining the Whiskey scene in 2000, it has always been an American original. It consists of a potent blend of 4.5 to 10+ year Whiskies made from heavily roasted grain. If you want to let it sit in a glass, by all means, do, as it looks super pretty with its summer straw, honey and butter color. And it’s not only got a pretty cover—its content of dark chocolate, roasted nuts and orange peel aromas will take you to places you’ve never been. In addition, bittersweet chocolate flavors, honey and light citrus flavors will make you experience things you wish you’d done ages ago. A genuinely worthy tipple.
