Jamaican Rum perfectly-aged in the islands and France for a fruity, satisfying dram.

Plantation Rum is owned by French Cognac producer Maison Ferrand, who control no less than a dozen major brands of premium Spirits and Liqueurs. Ferrand is all about quality โ€” and you can taste it. Plantation Rum is their top shelf Rum label. And mighty good stuff it is, too. They offer a variety of Rums from the Caribbean. Depending on the specific actual plantation and the country of origin, the Rums can vary between soft and aromatic to light and elegant โ€” each one showing the experienced influence of Maison Ferrand.

Plantation Rum Jamaica Vintage 2005 Edition is a blend of two vintage Rums from Jamaica โ€” specifically from the Long Pond and Clarendon distilleries. The Spirit was developed in the traditional Jamaica method of long, natural fermentation of molasses distilled in copper pot-stills. The Spirits were aged a full twelve years in Jamaica, then transported to France where they were re-casked and aged an additional one to two years before being bottled at 45.2% ABV.
