The Speyside distiller found precious old barrels for Diageo's Special Releases 2019. We're talking about former Pedro Ximenez Oloroso Sherry seasoned casks where Scotch spent 26 years before it was bottled at 53.3% ABV. The nose is elegant, like an ancient bookstore.
