It was back in the 19th century when John Philip Wiser emigrated from New York to Ontario, Canada. There, J. P. Wiser was a cattle breeder and he started working at his uncle’s distillery in Ontario first to provide high-quality grains for the animals. In 1857, he became the distillery's manager and bought his uncle out. Besides being one of the first to export cattle to Great Britain, Wiser managed to transform his distillery into one of the largest and most prestigious distilleries in the country that won “Distillery of the Year” four times since 2018.

J.P. Wiser's 18 Year Old Canadian Whisky brings you 100% double column-distilled corn Whisky that reached its maturity in Canadian Whisky barrels. It was aged in Southern Ontario, which means the fluctuating climate there did its thing and imparted delicious notes of green apple, mature oak, baking spice, and rich caramel on this blended beauty. A Whisky as smooth as this one is best savored on its own or over ice but if you use it to make a really good craft cocktail, we’ll approve.
