Glenfiddich 30 Year Old Suspended Time Single Malt Scotch Whisky

If you ask Rust Cohle, time is a flat circle; and if you talk to Christopher Nolan, it’s something one manipulates for fun. Now, Glenfiddich claims they managed to Nolan the hell out of time and stop it for their delightful Suspended Time Aged 30 Years, and while we remain in the ‘Time is Unstoppable’ club, they did do something spectacular with this one.

For one, it’s pretty limited, and the three decades the juice spent in a combo of European and American oak left an extraordinary influence on it: fruity, spicy, floral, oaky, and honeyed. While they didn’t reinvent Whisky, they absolutely re-imagined what one of the best Scotches can be. You’ll get it in a beautiful modernist capsule that creates the illusion of the bottle being suspended in time and space.
