Located in "the Whiskies place on Earth", Campbeltown, Glen Scotia has been producing Whisky since 1832. Closed and silenced several times throughout its history, it was bought by the Loch Lomond Group in 2014 and completely rejuvenated. And it shows.
The Glen Scotia 25 YO has already won hearts at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, sweeping the competition with the title of Best in Show. What is it? It's a complex and elegant Campbeltown Single Malt, gently matured in American oak barrels before being married in first-fill Bourbon before bottling. The result is a full-bodied Whisky with a signature nose of vanilla oak, interwoven with the subtle notes of sea spray and spicy aromatic fruits. Bottled at 48.8% ABV (97.5 Proof) with no added color or chill-filtration, as nature intended.
