LIMITED OFFER: Frérot XO & Frérot Extra come with complimentary exclusive snifter glasses!

Frérot Extra is second of its name, but first of its extravagance.

While its younger brother XO showcased the exquisite flavors of all crus of Cognac, Extra is 100% Grande Champagne – the Premier Cru, the aficionados call it.

But terroir is just one of the pillars upon which we built this delightful Cognac; the other is age. The Cognacs in the blend were aged between 30 and 50 years, and we’re betting on their rich and complex characters to enchant your palate.

The opulent profile starts with a bouquet of raspberries and fresh orchard fruits, evolving into a palate of caramel, walnut, and candied fruits. The finish is lavishly long with an extra amount of rancio and a hint of tobacco.

Two stars is generous.

Pretty horrible. Tastes like rancid apricots and turpentine. Long aftertaste. Aged in what I wonder? Will probably throw it out. Expensive!

Starts off with sweet fruit fl...

Starts off with sweet fruit flavors (apple, grape, berry), and transitions quickly to the deliciously nutty rancio finish.

I’m normally a whiskey drink...

I’m normally a whiskey drinker myself. Hadn’t really explored Brandies or cognacs. But I really liked this. Followed the recommendations on how to drink it and it is delicious. Can’t imagine needing to dilute or mix this. I’ve given most of my good friends a small glass they all were impressed.
