All you need is this Rum and a palm tree.

Parce Rums are billed as being from Colombia. They have indeed fired up a small scale distillery in Bogota, but still need the production facilities in nearby Panama to do some of the heavy lifting. The Rums are, however, crafted, aged, blended, and bottled in Colombia. It’s a newish operation with deep, old roots. The folks at Parce recruited third generation master blenders Arthur and Brojen Fernandez Domecq to help them assemble the final products which consist of 8 and 12 YO sugarcane based premium Rum spirits.

Parce 12 Year Old Straight Colombian Rum says just about everything that you need to know right there on the label. No artificial colorings or flavoring and naturally aged in oak in the tropical jungles of Colombia. For being such a new entry, they are racking up some impressive awards — six gold medals at the San Francisco World’s Spirits Competition, including Best Aged Rum and Best Rum overall. Not bad.

What does Parce 12 Year Old Straight Colombian Rum taste like?

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in Parce 12 Year Old Straight Colombian Rum and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.

A little bit of etymology; nobody really knows where the word Rum comes from. Most popular suggestions are: Rum (the Romani word for potent), Rumbullion (an uproar), Saccharum (sugar in Latin), Rummer (a Dutch drinking glass).

Ratings & Reviews
smoky and woody rum
Aside from being as smooth as silk, it also had a really great taste. I would highly recommend this to any sophisticated rum connoisseur.
