D'Aincourt CognacD'Aincourt Cognac

Founded in 1848
D’Aincourt is producing some of the finest eaux-de-vie in all the land from 110 hectares in the heart of the Cognac region, in Grande Champagne.

Their Master Blender carefully selects and subtly unites their oldest and rarest eaux-de-vie (some of which are over 100 years old!) to reveal an aromatic masterpiece worthy of the crown.

In fact, their forefather was none other than the Marquis de Caulaincourt, “Grand Ecuyer” of Napoleon, French Ambassador to Russia and Major General in the Napoleonic Army.

And in homage to the war epics of these great men of history, the D’AINCOURT badge recalls the Empire insignia worn on their military uniforms. Feeling stately, yet?

There are currently three expressions of the brand — Rare XO, Extra, Premier Cru and all three Cognacs express their character in a unique handcrafted decanter designed by the famous designer Patrick Norguet, who signs an elegant reinterpretation of an original and authentic bottle of Cognac.

About The Flavor Spiral

What does D'Aincourt taste like?

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavours that you'll taste in D'Aincourt cognac and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.
