All about Bache Gabrielsen distillery

Bache-Gabrielsen distillery is located in an old, almost antiquated premise in the center of Cognac. Norwegian Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen followed love to France, and then decided to make Cognac, founding the Cognac House of Bache-Gabrielsen in 1905.

Coming from a background in Spirits (his father was an executive at the largest Alcohol producer in Norway), Thomas brought the natural Norwegian way, to French Cognac. Today, Maison Bache-Gabrielsen is one of the last remaining, family-run Cognac houses in France, ran by Hervé Bache-Gabrielsen, Thomas' great-grandson.

Despite being located in the antique housing, behind the facade lies a very modern Cognac distillery. According to them, as modern as a Cognac distillery can be.
