Meet the Woodford Reserve Topflight Series S5B1 Double Oaked Bourbon, a single barrel marvel that redefines the classic bourbon experience. This beauty undergoes a double-barreling process, first in new white oak, then in a second, heavily toasted barrel, creating a symphony of flavors. Bottled at 90.4 Proof (45.2% ABV), it boasts notes of vanilla bean, toasted marshmallow, and orchard fruit on the nose, with a palate of dark chocolate, citrus, and peach. The finish is long and smooth, leaving a sweet, fruity echo.

The Woodford Reserve Distillery has been distilling on the same site for more than 235 years, making it the oldest Bourbon distillery in Kentucky. Now owned by Brown-Forman—one of America’s largest wine and spirits companies—it has been refitted and set to expand.

Since their founding in 1780, the folks at Woodford have been influential in the development and codifying of Bourbon production. In short, they helped invent the spirit as we know and love it today!
