The Woodford Reserve Double Double Oaked 2026 Release is a Bourbon lover's dream. This Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey undergoes a double maturation process, first in a standard barrel, then in a heavily toasted new oak barrel. Bottled at 45.2% ALC/VOL, it boasts rich, sweet oak and dessert notes. Expect aromas of dark maple syrup and toasted marshmallow, with flavors of dark chocolate and rich caramel. The finish is long and velvety, leaving a trail of roasted coffee bean and sweet vanilla.

The Woodford Reserve Distillery has been distilling on the same site for more than 235 years, making it the oldest Bourbon distillery in Kentucky. Now owned by Brown-Forman—one of America’s largest wine and spirits companies—it has been refitted and set to expand.

Since their founding in 1780, the folks at Woodford have been influential in the development and codifying of Bourbon production. In short, they helped invent the spirit as we know and love it today!

Flavor / Taste / Palate

Viscous, sweet, and highly concentrated. The heavy toasting of the secondary barrel delivers intense waves of dark chocolate, rich caramel, and sweet dried dark fruit.

Finish

Exceptionally long, warm, and velvety. It leaves a lingering, dessert-like trail of roasted coffee bean, sweet vanilla, and heavily toasted oak.
