Devil’s Brigade: The tastiest collaboration between Canada and the States.
In 1942, an elite World War II commando unit was organized and trained in a small town in Montana. All kinds of regular men - hunters, soldiers, back-country-rangers, explorers, lumberjacks, and mountain men volunteered to join the Secret unit. They became world-class soldiers, fighting in the Aleutian Islands, Italy, and Southern France, and bringing their fierce style of fighting with them whenever they went. For fighting at night in blackened faces, they became known as The Devil’s Brigade.
A fierce group of men like that certainly deserves a Spirit created in their honor, thought the Devil’s Brigade Whiskey’s creators, before they created a Whiskey that is just as bold and smooth as the Devil’s brigade itself. Made 60% from American Bourbon and 40% from Canadian Whiskey, as was the ratio of American and Canadian men in the Devil’s brigade, this Spirit is later blended and bottled by Willie’s Distillery in Ennis, Montana. The pleasant ABV of 42% is commemorating the unit’s special skills with the V-42 Knife. The Whiskey comes in 12 batches, each one named after a Forceman.
