In Central Kentucky, Wilderness Trail Distillery channels Daniel Boone’s pioneering spirit. Founded in 2012 by fermentation experts Shane Baker and Pat Heist, the distillery blends tradition with science to craft top-tier spirits. They produce premium Bourbon, Rye Whiskey, and Vodka using locally-grown grains.

The Trail Mix Miniature Set features three 50 ml bottles of Wilderness Trail’s small-batch, bottled-in-bond Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon, High-Rye Bourbon, and Rye. Crafted with 18-month-old air-dried staves and aged in #4 char barrels, this set guarantees a rich, non-chill filtered experience. Tasting notes include caramel, vanilla, spice, and oak. I am very pleased with Flaviar. They have a wonderful customer service and was very quick to get back in touch with me. I had a mess when I opened my first package of this. There was a strong smell of alcohol and glass everywhere. Sadly my bottles had broken before delivery. I reached out to Flaviar and sent pictures of the box and broken bottles. They sent me another one quickly and was delivered safely.
