Wild Turkey Master's Keep Unforgotten Blended Whiskey

The new Master's Keep is simply unforgettable.

In 1869, the Ripy Brothers started distilling on Wild Turkey Hill near Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. The namesake product became their number one seller and the name of the distillery was changed to reflect that success. The Ripy Family sold the distillery in 1952, and then the normal rounds of mergers and acquisition occurred. Campari Group out of Italy owns them now and they produce a wide range of Bourbons under the very popular Wild Turkey name along with several other brands. All under the watchful eyes and experienced hands of the only father-son master distiller team in the business — the legendary Jimmy and Eddie Russell.

Released in the fall of 2022, Wild Turkey Master's Keep Unforgotten was born out of what you could call a serendipitous mishap. Over a decade ago, a Wild Turkey employee accidentally mixed together some young Rye with mature Bourbon. Master Distiller Eddie Russell recognized the potential and soon, Forgiven was born. But the release of Unforgotten takes it to the next level: this is a high-proof, non-chill filtered, and extra-aged version of the blend. Coming at a blistering 105 proof, meet the gorgeous marriage of 13YO Bourbon and 8YO and 9YO Ryes, which happen to be some of the oldest ever released by Wild Turkey.

Prepare for fresh fruit notes imparted by the extra aging in Rye Whiskey barrels that masterfully complement the Bourbon’s caramel and oak, all rounded up by the Rye’s dried fruit, black pepper, honey and baking spice notes.
